Gus was the fourth generation of the Dunville family to farm this same land. His grandfather's (Richard Andrew Dunville Jr) house, his father's (Richard Lee Dunville) house and his uncle's (Benjamin Harry Dunville) house were all located within a few hundred yards of his home. It was to the credit of Gus and the modern day farm techniques of the time that the land increased in productive ability. |
